Illinois Cost-of-Living Refund Coalition

CLR Coalition Members 22.png

The Illinois Cost-of-Living Refund Coalition is dedicated to getting more money into the hands of Illinois families. Our members are composed of unions, community organizations, consumer protection groups, and nonprofits.
We run specific projects, such as the Coalition to Make EIC Work, which is advocating for an expansion to Illinois' Earned Income Credit. More broadly, we hope to make Illinois' tax system more equitable through refundable tax credits, progressive income tax, simplified filing, and direct cash transfer policies and programs.
